Hey Dr. Kirby! I just showed my two little girls a good portion of your pictures. I asked them who it was and they yelled in unison "Our doctor kirby!" They are 4 & 6. They just love you and miss you dearly (we moved to Salem, OR and thus have a new doctor) I just wanted to say you have had such a great influence on so many little (and big!) lives. You are an inspiration in many ways! I told my girls your story, as best I could with their ages, and told them how strong you are.
Our thoughts are with you, always.

Congratulations you guys! What an incredible journey and thank you so much for sharing! Sonia, I can't think of a better way to spend a birthday! I look forward to meeting you on the first day of school (science) and getting to know you this upcoming year. How bizarre it will be to fly across the country in mere hours after having crossed it on a bike.
