Photos: Coming Home to Washington

Nice to ride a lightweight bike. Back home in Walla Walla, Washington.

Below:

1. 80 days on the bike was easier than 8 hours on the plane!

2. Dave from Stillwater Recumbents near Old Town, ME will break down and ship the bikes for us. (Thank you!)

3. Lobstering in Narraguagus Bay.

4. + 5. America is still a land of wonder and beauty. Here, near Milbridge, Maine.

Milbridge, Maine was settled over 250 years ago!

Welcome home! I hope you are adjusting well to the change. Sonia, Gus, and Dan, have a great first day at school. We look forward to catching up with the four of you in person. Love, Chandra and family.

Your family is an inspiration for us all. Following your journey has been motivational and exhilarating. Thank you and welcome home.

OOOHHH I so know the look on your face on the plane Dan.

Reminds me of retuning to work after holidays only to be confined to the insides of a submarine

Hey, welcome home! My husband and I just got back from a New England vacation, and we explored a bit of the Western side of Maine, and stayed in Portland a couple of nights. Beautiful area. Loved the ocean.

Doesn't it feel great to be home?
